Agent Mode

Controlling applications with Natural Language.

Agent Mode

Agent Mode is the primary way to "do work" with LifLen. It allows you to control specific applications using Python-based automation logic.

Usage

To activate Agent Mode, type a Slash Command at the start of your message:

1. Excel Agent (/excel)

Targets the active Excel workbook.

  • Capabilities: Sorting, Filtering, Formatting, Pivot Tables, Charts, Data Cleaning.
  • Deep Search: Uses native COM to scan milions of rows instantly.
  • Example: "/excel Find the average revenue for Q3 and create a bar chart."

2. Word Agent (/word)

Targets the active Word document.

  • Capabilities: Drafting text, applying styles, inserting headers/footers.
  • Example: "/word Write a formal cover letter for a generic tech job based on my clipboard."

3. System Agent (/system)

Targets the Windows OS itself.

  • Capabilities: Launching apps, organizing windows, file management.
  • Example: "/system Organise all my open windows side-by-side."

Security & Reliability

  • Shadow State: Automatically creates temporary snapshots before complex actions to allow "Seamless Undo".
  • Reality Check: The Agent re-reads cells after writing to verify data integrity (preventing hallucinations).
